Step one to building your dream van is to design your build with Arjan, the man behind Forged Vans. Originally from South Africa, Arjan is a climber, snowboarder, surfer, hang glider, kite surfer, biker - he gets shit done, and he has a good time doing it. He’s also a Dad, and understands the demand for safety, comfort, and efficiently utilized space. Arjan is a hands on guy who wants to hear exactly what you want, so he can make it happen.
We build it
Over 6-8 weeks, your van goes from a cold empty shell to a fully functioning house on wheels. Each part of your van is custom fit and crafted by hand. No plastic RV components here, only top-end raw materials, forged to your needs, to bring the natural elements of the outdoors into your space.
Our Materials
We utilize environmentally conscious, non-toxic, no VOC supplies so that your van space is as clean as the mountain air you’re breathing outside. Architectural grade biodegradable Plyboo bamboo on walls and ceilings adds warmth to our interiors. Our Richlite countertops and kitchen cabinetry is highly durable and sustainable, made of recycled craft paper. Rubio Monocoat is the only oil that contains 0% VOC, using molecular bonding technology to provide long lasting protection. The brands we rely on are hand selected with the safety of our customers in mind.

With all the necessities and luxuries to make life on the road clean, comfortable, and efficient, you’re off! Running water offers a hot shower at the end of a dusty day of biking. Your fully loaded solar energy system gives you power to cook for days on end. And with sleeping space for the whole family, you’ll be recharged to wake up and do it all over again tomorrow.
